The grip makes all the difference
I've used cheap hammers my whole life — the cushioned grip on this one is a revelation. Framed a shed over the weekend and my hand wasn't sore at all. The claw pulls nails cleanly without bending them.

The grip makes all the difference
I've used cheap hammers my whole life — the cushioned grip on this one is a revelation. Framed a shed over the weekend and my hand wasn't sore at all. The claw pulls nails cleanly without bending them.
Perfect weight for trim work
16 oz is my sweet spot for trim and light framing. Good balance, the claw is sharp enough to grab finish nails without slipping. I've had mine two months and it still looks new.
Solid everyday hammer
Nothing fancy, but that's what I wanted. Drives 16d framing nails in three swings and pulls bent ones without splitting the handle. Docking one star because the grip got a little sticky in the summer heat, but overall great value.
Great for household repairs
Hung curtain rods, assembled furniture, patched a fence — this hammer handled everything. The anti-vibration grip really does cut down on that jarring sting when you miss the nail head.
Good for the price
My crew uses better hammers, but I bought this for a helper and it's held up fine after a month on site. Drives nails straight, claw is stiff enough to pry boards apart. Worth every penny at this price point.
